JOIN US ON THE WATER

The Flying Ears dragon boat team is based in Dekalb County, Illinois.  We welcome paddlers of all ages (14+), abilities, and ambition levels. Our team is focused on growing the sport of dragon boating, developing strong team building skills, and fostering a sense of fellowship amongst our members.

The Flying Ears hold practices at beautiful Lake Shabbona on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.  We participate in dragon boating events in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Iowa.

As a registered non-profit we are dedicated to giving back to our communities.  Team members volunteer at several events each year.
